BIOGRAPHY

Luis Fernando Alvaro Maldonado was born in Quito, capital of Ecuador, on the 20th of July in 1979. He is the third child of Zoila and Alfonso and has one older sister, one older brother and a younger brother, who is also in music. Luis was born with a passion for music and he formed his first group when he was only eight years old. All though he was in school, he dedicated all his free time to the music. He never studied music but learned simply by listening and practising.

There was always a dream of Europe and in 1997 the opportunity arose for Luis to cross the Atlantic. With the music in his heart and a determination to make a better life for himself and his family he left Ecuador, only 17 years old. Now 11 years later, he has produced several CDs and brought his family over from Ecuador. His talent and passion has taken him to where he is today: travelling the world making a living on his music.
